Dependable Legal Representation
Our Legal Services
The majority of people who have the responsibility of administering or contesting the estate and/or trust of a loved one are already under stress and grieving. We can provide relief and assist you with all aspects of your deceased loved one's post-death affairs.
Elder Law & Abuse
Abuse of the elderly is certainly on the rise. Stawicki Law Office knows what to look for and how to handle abuse cases if a loved one has been victimized. We have a great deal of experience advising and representing family members who have been in these situations
Have a family member who is unable to make personal and/or financial decisions for themselves? You may need the legal counsel and guidance from a guardianship attorney. We assist with all aspects of guardianships for adults with a disability and minors. We can help you decide whether guardianship is appropriate and assist you with establishing a court appointed guardianship for the best interests of the disabled adult or minor.
Get a good grip on your financial future. A well-established estate plan considers both the inevitability of death and the possibility of becoming disabled. In the event of a dispute over estate or trust assets, we help recover estate and/or trust assets resulting from a breach of fiduciary responsibilities and other malfeasance.
Financial Exploitation of the Eldery
Financial exploitation of the elderly occurs when a person misuses or takes assets from an adult over 60 years old for their own personal benefit. This frequently occurs without the explicit knowledge or consent of a senior or disabled adult, depriving him/her of vital financial resources for his/her personal needs. Have you or a loved one been the victim of financial exploitation? We can help.
Breach of Fiduciary Duty
We aggressively litigate cases involving fiduciary misconduct arising out of breach of trusts or other fiduciary relationships. You should expect a lawsuit involving allegations of misconduct and breach of fiduciary duties to be hotly contested. We have experience holding wrongdoers accountable and obtaining successful results prosecuting claims for breach of fiduciary duties.
Business deals are the cornerstone of our economy. However, sometimes business deals "go bad." People sign contracts and don't follow through on what was promised. Partners cheat each other out of profits and/or businesses make promises to investors and do not honor them. At Stawicki Law Office, we'll help resolve your contested business disputes.
Landlord Tenant Law
Landlord-tenant law includes rights and obligations each party has with regard to the rental property. Landlords may need help working out tax deductions or determining if eviction is necessary, legal and appropriate. Tenants may need help understanding their rights as renters covered in the Fair Housing Act. We're able to represent and cover both sides.
Civil Rights Law
Civil rights laws guarantee rights to individuals to receive equal treatment. Civil rights violations can come in any form of discrimination including: race, age, education, employment, housing, lending & more.
Creditor & Debtor
Creditor and debtor relationships exist between two persons or businesses where the debtor is given services, money, or goods by a creditor. Failure to repay can lead to litigation and/or debt collection. When informal negotiations are unsuccessful, an attorney may commence a lawsuit to obtain a judgment for the unpaid debt and then commence collection proceedings by means of garnishment or liquidation. Have the right guidance and representation for when a debt becomes un-payable or when money is owed.
Civil Litigation Trials
Unhappy with an adverse judgment or decision? At Stawicki Law Office we can appeal adverse rulings at the trial court level related to: Civil, Probate, Trust/Trustee, Guardianship, Elder, Business Litigation, Debtor/Creditor, Civil Rights and more.
